Vanessa Santos is the President and CEO of Renegade DC and a strategic communications professional with more than a decade of experience advising high-profile figures and organizations across politics, media, technology, national security, and culture.

Throughout her career, Vanessa has advised political figures, bestselling authors, advocacy organizations, and business leaders on media strategy, messaging, crisis communications, brand launches, and events. She has secured coverage across the nation’s leading media outlets, helping clients shape public discourse and expand their influence.

Vanessa has provided commentary on politics, media, and communications for numerous national outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The New Yorker, Variety, the New York Post, and Fox News.

Before founding Renegade DC, Vanessa served as Director of Media Relations at Javelin, where she helped propel numerous books onto The New York Times bestseller list.

Vanessa lives in Maryland with her husband, their two children, and their rescue dogs.
